Mission
The Nebraska Wheat Growers Association’s goal is to improve and stabilize the profitability of the Nebraska wheat producer. To achieve this goal, the NWGA specializes in state affairs, international policy, disaster relief programs, research, environmental policy, and domestic policy.Organization
The NWGA is governed by a five-member Executive Board consisting of four officers and an executive director. The board’s role is to develop policy, direct the organization, and—most importantly—know and represent the interests of Nebraska wheat growers.The NWGA is part of the National Association of Wheat Growers (NAWG). This organization works to advance the wheat industry at state and national levels. NAWG is in daily communication with state associations as well as members of Congress, the USDA, and other government agencies.

NWGA Executive Board of Directors
Scott Osler
Scott is currently serving as the president of the Nebraska Wheat Growers Association. Scott farms 3,700 irrigated and dry land acres in Perkins and Chase Counties in southwest Nebraska. He has been farming since 1973 after graduating from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln with a degree in agronomy. Scott raises wheat, corn, soybeans and certified warm season native grass seed.
Scott has been married for 15 years to wife Debbi. They have three daughters. Scott enjoys attending their school and sports activities. In addition, he enjoys traveling and snow skiing. He also follows the Husker football, baseball, and volleyball teams.
Scott has been a lifelong member and leader of the Elsie United Methodist Church. He has held positions on the local co-op and school boards. After being a member of NWGA for several years, Scott joined the Executive Board in 2002.
Ashley Colglazier
Ashley farms with her husband Tim and family in northwest Chase County and southwest Perkins County. Besides hard red winter wheat, the Colglazier operation also grows dryland proso millet and corn.
Ashley earned her bachelor's of agronomy from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2004 and is currently pursuing her masters of agronomy online. Along with being a member of the Nebraska Wheat Growers Association, she also serves as treasurer for the Perkins County Community Foundation.
Mike Keenan
Mike farms with his parents, Dr. Harold and Cheryl Keenan, 14 miles northwest of Big Springs. They raise wheat, millet, and sunfllowers and do some custom farm work (planting, spraying, and harvesting).
Mike joined the NWGA board in 2002 to help promote profitability for the wheat farmer and has learned a great deal in the process.
Mike also serves on the board of directors of the Farmers Co-op Elevator in Big Springs.
Mike Sullivan
Mike is currently past president of the Nebraska Wheat Growers Association. He has been a member of the NWGA since the early ’80s, following a tradition set by his father, John. Mike has served as president and vice president of this organization, as well as a representative on the National Association of Wheat Growers.
Mike farms alongside his wife Terri, his son, parents, and brother south of Wallace. The operation consists of wheat, corn, soybeans, and pasture. To complement the farming operation, Mike and family own and operate a private fertilizer and chemical business.
Mike served as president from 1993 to 1994 and from 2006 to 2007. “I have really enjoyed working with and for the wheat producers of Nebraska. I truly believe that one person can and does make a difference and that a unified voice for all growers can get the attention of law makers everywhere.”
Mike and his wife Terri have three children. Shawn recently graduated from college and has returned to the family farm. Heather is currently attending the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and Jared is attending school in Wallace.
Shawn Sullivan
Shawn was elected to the Nebraska Wheat Growers Association's executive board in December 2007. He is following a tradition set by his father, Mike, and grandfather, John, who both served on the Executive Board of the Nebraska Wheat Growers.
Shawn recently graduated from college with a degree in agri-business and crop production and has returned to the family farm. He farms alongside his parents, grandparents, and uncle south of Wallace. The operation consists of wheat, corn, soybeans, and pasture. To complement the farming operation, the family owns and operates a private fertilizer and chemical business.
